Healing

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to feel the touch of the Master’s hand? We often do feel His healing power as people pray for us or when priesthood holders lay hands on our heads and bless us in His name. President Gordon B. Hinckley testified, “Ours is a ministry of healing, with a duty to bind the wounds and ease the pain of those who suffer. Upon a world afflicted with greed and contention, upon families distressed by argument and selfishness, upon individuals burdened with sin and troubles and sorrows, I invoke the healing power of Christ, giving my witness of its efficacy and wonder” (“The Healing Power of Christ,” Ensign, November 1988, 59). The day of miracles has not passed. Healing still occurs today. Whether we are feeling the grief of losing a loved one or the sadness that comes from sin or even just our mortal mistakes, healing is available through our faith and the touch of the Master’s hand. For a video on the healing power of Jesus Christ, click here.
